Membership Overview
Royal Melbourne Country Club offers a unique alternative to the traditional golf club membership in Lake County and Chicago. The experience begins as soon as you enter the gated community and find yourself surrounded by our perfectly manicured golf course which is nestled between prairie-wetland conservancies, nine ponds attracting native wildlife and of course, picturesque views. We pride ourselves on the fact that we have bent grass greens, fairways and tees. As soon as you walk into the clubhouse, you will sense the friendly, relaxed atmosphere that our entire staff maintains. Royal Melbourne Country Club will be your home away from home in Long Grove – a place you are proud to bring your family, friends and colleagues. In addition to golf, we offer many programs – tennis, aquatics, children’s camps and plenty of social activities for members of all ages and interests.

Reciprocal Privileges
The Reciprocal Privileges program is included in the benefits offered to all members and is available via two programs.
The Triple Crown Collection
Program benefits include access and preferred rates to the KemperSports owned and operated private clubs of The Glen Club (Glenview) and Hawthorn Woods (Hawthorn Woods) Country Clubs, along with Royal Melbourne who form the ‘Triple Crown’ of clubs:
- $25+ green fee for Members
- Preferred guest fees for Member’s guests
- Charged incidentals back to your Member account
- Access to both courses. Call the Royal Melbourne golf shop to schedule
- Please Note: the $25+ fee is waived on select reciprocal days & times throughout the season.

Program benefits include preferred access and preferred rates for private and daily fee access to 50+ courses across the KemperSports portfolio.
